Constructing Chaos! Part 1

So it begins...a blog talking about the current army I'm working on. It all goes back to where I began. I've decided that after a five year break, it's time for me to construct a new Mortal Chaos List. 

I picked up the army deal when the latest army book was released. It is where I will begin!

This is what that box included: 5 Chaos Knights (new plastics)
5 Marauder Horsemen (new plastics)
5 warhounds (new plastics)
10 Chosen (new metals)
Metal Lord on Juggernaut (new metals)
Metal Nurgle Sorc
2 metal spawns
Chaos Lord on Daemonic Mount
Khorne Chaos Champion
Sigvald the Magnificent


After that, I inventoried my older stuff...and found 10 metal Warhounds, 40 Chaos Warriors, a ton of characters, two Chaos Spawn, a Wood Elf Dragon, a Wood Elf on a warhawk, and a spell singer. 


Pretty awesome huh? Didn't even remember buying these dudes...


I started assembling the models last night, beginning with the metal war hounds. Those things are annoying as hell. I like them a lot more than the plastic war hounds, but they are 10 times more difficult to assemble. Man I hate metal models. 


Tonight's goal is to assemble the chaos warriors and finish the metal hounds.


The goal is a Table Top quality army that I can get done before Christmas. Hopefully I can make that happen.
